A Godly Woman = A Beautiful Woman!

My goal for this blog is to encourage women who desire a relationship with the Lord and modesty.. Modesty is not only in physical appearance but is visible on the inside as well. Our behavior also expresses our modesty!

These days a God fearing woman and modesty is a rarity. Our society makes it seem the more we show off, the less clothes we wear, if we have "attitude" and are sassy, have a foul mouth, smoke, drink, gossip the more normal we are and better we fit in. But, if we cover ourselves, are humble, have humility, wear longer skirts or dresses, have uncut hair, are graceful, listen to our convictions, don't wear makeup, don't dye our hair or even if we wear a head-covering, to the world we are old fashioned, religious, different, odd and aren't considered up to date or even normal for that matter.

A God fearing beautiful modest woman starts first inside when you repent, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and surrender your will and life totally to Him. He then takes out your old heart and gives you a new one. Things start changing not only your heart but your thinking too. Since you aren't of the world and don't care about the things of the world your focus turns to the things of Heaven and pleasing the Lord as well as how you want to spend your time.

It doesn't matter how we look, if we are tall, short, skinny, thick or in between. If we have black, brown, red, white, grey or blonde hair...even the color of our eyes isn't important! The Lord made everyone of us the way He desired. All wonderfully unique! The most beautiful women I have seen are the most Godly ones. When you can see the Lord shinning through a woman in everything she does it's amazing the beauty she posses. It's a light that not anything or anyone in the world can put out. That is my desire, to be someone that another person can see and they don't see my physical appearance if I'm physically pretty to them or not, but ONLY the Ruach Ha-Kodesh (Holy Spirit) shining through me!

Proverbs 31:30
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
